Deliberate Productions founder, Deirdre L. Brenner, wanted to be in show business since the age of four when she discovered The Carol Burnett Show. She’s worked in the animation industry for over twenty years, producing hundreds of hours of animated entertainment for studios such as The Walt Disney Company, Nickelodeon, And Six Point Harness. Most recently, she was the Creative Producer on two CURIOUS GEORGE animated films for Universal Animation Studios. Deirdre’s years of producing experience have enabled her to build relationships with a variety of talented industry professionals.
Deirdre has also spent the last several years writing screenplays. That’s because she loves movies. Loves them! Some of her favorite films include Apocalypse Now, The Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather, Jaws, Sicario, Rushmore, The Shining, Kramer vs. Kramer…the list goes on and on. Deirdre wants to write and produce the type of meaningful, entertaining movies that have inspired and shaped her own cinematic sensibilities – which is why she established Deliberate Productions. Her scripts have received recognition from a variety of contests and organizations, including the Motion Picture Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting, the Sundance Institute Screenwriters Lab, and the Austin Film Festival Screenplay and Teleplay Competition.
Deirdre currently lives to serve her two cats in Southern California.
